Two Journeys led to one Story.

Talk about ADORATION. I mean these two.... there wasn't a second of the editing where I wasn't watching and thinking "wow, the way he looks at her" or "look at how she beams around him." (PS- I get to see the in between looks, the outtakes if you will, and these two adored each other EVERY second they were together!) I must have sent Tori a million messages (telling her the obvious) about how I could just SEE that Garren loves her, like a lot. Side note, Tori and Garren... they are wedding videographers so I was FREAKING out while creating this. I feel like one of the biggest compliments you can get is for another person in the industry to choose you for their own wedding. So wow! I was excited, nervous, honored, and anxious throughout the process... but it was so worth it! What a great celebration of love. Congratulations Tori & Garren!!!

I had been looking forward to Ross & Danielle's wedding for ohhh 8 months (yes, I counted). During those pre-wedding months Danielle was my #1 Instagram hype woman (yes, I do notice and GREATLY appreciate my loyal supporters, you help my business more than you realize) I was feeling extra connected to Danielle and even more excited as we approached their wedding day.  Fun Fact: My notes about Danielle after our inquiry call together are super funny (read: funny cute) to look back on. Basically I jotted down some quick summaries from our convo and all I can say is that she was lovable, enthusiastic, loved her fiancé, and spoke my language... so I was excited. Re-listening/re-watching their wedding day while editing had me going "yep!" as I heard how their closest loved ones described them. It was SPOT ON the same as the experience I had with them. I think it's that "realness" is what makes them both the lovable, fun, people that everyone describes them to be. Mark down another rainy wedding day WIN for Danielle and Ross because they got some gorgeous hazy light and everything fell perfectly into place! Congratulations you guys!

Let me say it again: An adventure elopement in Missouri!? YES!
Free from distractions. Totally present and in the moment. Taking your sweet time to do what feels right. Filling your day with curated events and time spent with your closest people. Building memories together. Fully immersed in the things that matter. Adventure, nature, serenity, and soaking it all in with your best friend. THIS is what that type of wedding day can look like here in the Midwest. We had a loose timeline for the day's events but more than anything we just went with the flow! McKenzie and Gavin were able to be in control of their day and do things at their own pace, when it felt right. Everything was centered around their love and the experience of it all - even jumping into the pool in their wedding attire which yes, maybe I did encourage - but seriously, you only live once!! Why not do what feels fun together in the moment!? When you choose to elope or have an intimate small wedding, the day becomes about just you and your partner joining together in marriage. Isn’t that what your wedding day should be about anyway?

"WOW, JUST WOW. It is absolutely PERFECT! Crying our eyes out and re-watching over and over again.  We cannot say thank you enough. You did the perfect job. Thank you so much for capturing our day."

Type. Delete. Retype. Delete again. My words are just not good enough. These two... just absolutely uniquely the best and a blast to hang out with (I mean "work" with). Honestly, Emily knows how I feel about her already as we have exchanged a large number of communications to one another so I will spare you from all that... but I will say that these two together are actually what would be described as perfect. It's true, look it up in the dictionary.
Perfect /ˈpərfikt/ 1. having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be. "Their wedding was a perfect day." (refer to Emily and Jimmy Walsh)
I can best express myself through art (not really good at the formal written word like Jimmy) so please watch their wedding video to understand... and then tell them just how awesome they are.
